the photos are nice.i wish u could post more photos of different beautiful places here in malawi.i love my country two.
I joined Kamuzu Academy in 1995 on the first president's scholarship then this school was really "Eton of Africa". I last visited the school in 2010 but trust me the structures are deteriorating. The school has produced a lot of people who are now doing well out there in society. Please Alumni can we do something to help this school out.
Honestly, Kamuzu Academy is a great place. When i consider the six years i stayed there, i feel like i have been there just for one day. I last visisted the school in 2010 with my family and i noticed that standards had gone down. Walking on grass was no longer out-of-bounds! There were a lot of footpaths on those beautiful loans! PMF was no longer there to provide security! In those days we used to have a school football team which could play Silver Strikers, Limbe Leaf Wanderers, MITCO and beat some of them. Our Football and Netball teams could go and train in the UK. When i visited the school in 2010, i remember one member of staff, who had taught me some twenty years ago asking me to demonstrate to the young ones (who i found in class)how we used to dance Ingoma for the NGWAZI. I shall live to cherish my experience at the Academy.
